Position Description
Treasury IT requires an experienced Java developer to join its Triton development team. Triton is Treasury and Cash Management trade entry and execution engine for a number of cash products. The application plays a central role in Cash Management's operations which provides short and long-term funding for Morgan Stanley's cash requirements.
The Triton programme consists of tactical and strategic projects, which cover enhancement and fix requests, and adapting Triton to meet major new requirements from the business units.
You will responsible for development and support of the application's server components, which from the backbone of the application. You will demonstrate achitectural skills, and have experience with refactoring existing applications. You will be working with other highly experienced Java developers based in Montreal and London.
Skills Required
Experienced Java developer w/ UNIX, RDBMS.
4+ years of Java w/ the following
- threading / concurrency; transaction processing
- Spring / CXF
- Messsaging middleware (MQ Series preferred)
- System design & architecture
- SQL / database experience (DB2 / Sybase)
- Linux / Unix and scripting experince
- XML
- SOAP
- Ant
- Junit
Skills Desired
Perl; Eclipse; C#/ASP.Net; agile development techniques
